Our EVOO is a perfect ally to prepare your marinades…

Its multiple beneficial properties for health, the breadth of flavors and nuances provided by the different varieties and its excellent behavior when subjected to temperatures in the kitchen, make our products a great base for any gastronomic preparation.

Marinating is a culinary technique in which a food – usually fish or meat – is submerged in a liquid mixture with oils, acids, herbs and spices for a period of time, before cooking.

Marinating foods adds flavor, since the essences of the marinade ingredients penetrate the food, expanding its nuances. In addition, it improves the texture, generally in meats, thanks to the use of acids (lemon or vinegar). For it to take effect, the minimum marinating time must be 30 minutes. There are large pieces that require up to 24 hours.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the best option for this technique since to its multiple properties are added the nuances that different varieties such as Arbequina, Picual, Hojiblanca or Lucio can provide… all present in the production of our EVOOs.
